about

It's been a lot of chaos and exhaustion, but here it is, at long last, with no more talk. Thank you so much to my wonderful family and friends, and every single person who has helped and shaped this album, with extra special thanks to the André, Kahan, Henley, Doerksen, Harrison, Takeda, Thiele-Jin, Farintosh, and Enns families, as well as Maureen, Seán, and Alexis, and the incredible musicians represented here. In many ways, I owe you all my life. I really hope you all enjoy my first release.

Track Name: The Cracking
Today I tell of the aftermath
Men destroying, doing that thought impossible

Every time the ash becomes
Concrete we choke out
The world with which we are
Unsatisfied

Plastic in our bodies
We will never stand tall
Thanks to the spyglasses
You can watch it all

Watch society ravaged at the
Age of nineteen fourteen
Watch us never be able to
Sew the seams

Watch the children cry for things that they
Never before have seen
Watch us never be able to
Unhear the screams

We'll likely never walk again, our world does scorn repair
Only time will tell
But nothing could stop it, we could only watch in despair
As the brave lark fell

Hell has touched us
In our dying sleep
In the fists of our future
We do not even weep

You can feel it in the way we move
And pay our due fares
You can feel it in the sick and dying
Clothes we wear

Watch us become bent beyond belief
Watch us never again breathe a sigh of relief

We'll likely never walk again, our world does scorn repair
Only time will tell
But nothing could stop it, we could only watch in despair
As the brave lark

We'll likely never walk again, our world does scorn repair
Only time will tell
But nothing could stop it, we could only watch in despair
As the brave lark fell
Track Name: Just Walk
I'm tired of playing sidecar to myself
I put too many days forever on the shelf
I'm sick of trying, lying, drying in the sun
Not anymore, I need to get up, need to run

Opportunities fly like the last bus into town
I threw them away, and now I'm changing that
These times are eating me up faster than I can feed myself
Time to change my stagnant life's format

The times we see our days are gone, we stand and choose to run
Notice what propels us is the talk
The only way that we'll move forward in these times of haste
Is one foot at a time and learning to just walk
